My fiancé and I recently married at Belizean Dreams and our experience was exceptional. We arrived at Dangriga Airport after a quick 40 min plane ride and Bernard was there to greet us. After they loaded our bags we took off to the Resort in A/C van. Our room was amazing!! We had the beach front villa just steps away from the ocean. Our rooms were cleaned daily with little surprising touches. Our laundry was also taken care for us (small fee). The people in Hopkins Village are so friendly and honest. Our Wedding was beautiful and the staff accommodated ALL of our requests to ensure our wedding was a dream come true. I’ve been to many places throughout the U.S. and abroad and this place tops the list. The staff was so accommodating to our wedding party! We did not just leave with memories, we left with new friends as well.

The Belizean Dreams resort staff are among the most kind-hearted and helpful I have ever encountered. They anticipate your needs and are there for any request. The grounds are stunning- perfectly maintained and right on the beach! What a beautiful setting for our wedding… and what a beautiful wedding it was! Belizean Dreams went above and beyond to create the most beautiful arches made from local flora, as well as providing Garifuna musicians and setting a beautiful reception dinner with a tailored menu just for us. Great staff, very friendly. Special thanks to the bartenders — Miriam, Sergio, Mariano and Charles — they did their best to help us create a national rum shortage! Our beautiful niece’s wedding was meticulously planned and coordinated, with lovely tropical decorations and professional drummers.

We chose Belizean Dreams resort to host our wedding and were not disappointed. Planning something like that via emails and pictures can make a bride a little anxious but from the first inquiry I made Felipe and Taryn were always responsive, timely, detailed, warm, and welcoming. They made me feel like they genuinely cared and that carried through for the whole staff during our stay. From the second Eric picked us up from the airport to when he dropped us off, we felt like we were part of a family. The rooms are large and the views are gorgeous. Jennifer, Delcie, and Ed at the front desk welcome you and answer all questions with a smile. There wasn’t one thing I asked for that they weren’t able to accommodate. Our tour guide for the waterfall hike and southern Belize tour Bernard was knowledgeable and friendly and I can’t praise George enough for helping my daughter on the snorkeling excursion-a lot of people would have been annoyed having to devote so much attention to one guest but he did it with a smile and went the extra mile. Chef Omar prepared an amazing menu for our wedding dinner and every other night. And the cookies sent on tours as a snack were amazing. Jesse from butterfly spa did my hair for the wedding and it looked exactly like the picture I showed her. Every bartender and restaurant staff member were SO very friendly when you walked up and helpful in telling us places to go in town. Everyone knows your name when you’re a guest there. All the guests that came for the wedding had nothing but compliments for the resort and the food which was DELICIOUS. We also all ventured into town at one point or another and enjoyed the village-the people are so friendly so I highly recommend going out. Our wedding itself was better than I could have imagined, they exceeded my expectations and it was beautiful. I was able to just enjoy myself on my day-they really did take care of everything and said over and over that it was my day and not to worry about anything.
