The Belize Tourism Board recently announced that Discover Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, will introduce seasonal flights connecting Frankfurt, Germany, with Belize City beginning December 16, 2027.
The new service will operate twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, through mid-April 2028, with flights travelling via San José, Costa Rica.
The Frankfurt connection creates a new gateway to Belize for travelers from Germany and other European cities served through the Lufthansa network.
Better still, the service is scheduled during Belize's popular dry season, when warm temperatures and opportunities for outdoor adventures make the country an especially appealing winter escape.
