Our location is literally right on the beach. The horizon stretches all the way to the Belize Barrier Reef and beyond and steps from any of our Villas is a wide sandy beach great for sand castles and sun bathing.
“We spent 8 wonderful days at Belizean Dreams with 2 kids ages 11 and 7. It was the most amazing family vacation we have had. The people of Hopkins were wonderful, friendly and it felt very safe. We played soccer in town, rode bikes into the village and walked into town to shop or eat. The hotel staff were warm, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. The grounds are beautifully manicured every day….from the leaves to the combings of the beach. The suite is very clean, spacious and the deck has breathtaking views of the grounds and the ocean. They were especially patient when booking our snorkel tour. (Thank you for recommending the children practice snorkeling in the pool and ocean prior)….We chose the island hopping snorkel trip which was fabulous!! We stopped for a delicious lunch at their sister resort on CocoPlum Island which is accessible via boat only. Thanks to our tour guides for making it so much fun and educational. The bar is set on the beach and next to the pool. George will set you up with a refreshing Mosquito bite or any other drink you fancy. There is much to do in the area… zip lining, cave spelunking, snorkeling, touring the ruins… just to name a few. “Belizean Dreams was truly a pleasant surprise, and we loved our vacation. The rooms were spacious and immaculate, and had canopy beds and sliding doors that opened up to the amazing ocean breeze. The grounds were beautiful. Most importantly, the staff was incredible – every single one of them from management to maintenance were always smiling, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was terrific and we looked forward to every meal. The beach palapa bar was always busy and the bartenders were fun and personable… Miriam, George, and Charles really made our trip a lot of fun. Overall, the smaller resort meant we got to know many of our fellow guests and we felt like we made several new friends. The adventure tours were well-coordinated and ran on schedule. They were a highlight of our trip – especially the snorkeling / island-hopping and zip-line / cave-tubing tours. Great stuff. We used the resort’s bikes and golf carts to visit Hopkins (the locals are equally friendly) and spent time at some of the local restaurants and bars. “The vacation was perfect for us – we chose the Mayan and Beach Vista package. We wanted to be adventurous and see the entire country of Belize with as little stress as possible – this resort made that all possible. When we arrived we were given a list of adventures that would take place each day – all we had to do was the check the box that we wanted to go. We did the following tours – Cave tubing and Zip lining, Snorkeling and Island Hopping, Xuanantunich Mayan Monument Tour and the May Flower Waterfall and Hiking Tour. It was amazing. We were able to see the rainforest, the beach, the Coco Plum (sister resort) remote island and other islands for snorkeling, the caves, the Mayan ruins and hike to a waterfall and jump in a real earth-made pool without having to take out a wallet, book a tour or car – all we had to do was show up in the morning! Fantastic tour guide was awesome – for example when I told him my favorite food was grapefruit, he stopped on our travel back to the resort to let me pick one and try it! Belize is mostly jungle (tropical virgin rain-forests) and, with our low human population, our wildlife has thrived. Go on educational hikes with the kids. Learn about the trees and plants that provide food and medicine to man and animal alike. Stumble upon exotic mammals and birds, such as the noisy howler monkey, cute little Gibnuts, small red foxes and many others. Enjoy hearing the calls of Toucans and parrots flying overhead and many of the over 500 species of birds in Belize will be seen perching in the trees. “Spent spring break with our 11 year old son and 16 year old daughter. Room was perfect – two BR/2bath with tv room and kitchen literally 2 steps from the beach. Amazing porch across the entire front that had full view of the beach and ocean – perfect. Although the resort only has one restaurant we felt that we had plenty of choices especially considering daily special that was always delicious and different. The resort is small and very quiet with a beautiful beach, small pool and free kayaks/bikes always available. Half the days we were there we went on adventures (ziplining/tubing, snorkeling, monkey river) and the other days we kayaked and relaxed on the beach. The kids spent many hours hunting sea cucumbers and star fish in the sea grass beds just a small ways from the shore. Loved the mix of adventures we planned – probably covered at least 40% of the country and the resort did a great job getting you around seamlessly. “The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was amazing and you could eat all day long if you wanted too. We did the all inclusive family package which I would highly recommend. We did 3 tours during our stay and loved all of them. We took golf carts to the near by village and used the kayaks at the resort as well. You never know what something will look like online versus when you show up and we were not disappointed by anything! “This is a lovely place with a lot of natural beauty with very well maintained grounds. All people are extremely friendly and I constantly had a feeling that they would do anything to make sure we had a good time. Entire staff knew our names in matter of minutes upon our arrival. I have felt really welcome, really at home all the time. One day we did not know if we need a babysitter next day until 10 PM. Yet, when we have asked for one so late to be at our door at 6 am, lovely girl showed up even a bit sooner, sensing our nervousness not to be late for a dive trip. Rooms are fantastic. “Belizean Dreams Delivers – Family of 5 including 3 generations stayed for 8 nights recently in one of the 2 bedroom executive suites with 2 well appointed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and full kitchen with dining and living room areas. Very clean, everything worked! Large balconies with view of ocean and manicured lawns and flowering shrubs. Lots of birds and very friendly and attentive staff. A smaller, quiet property there was no line up for anything with plenty of beach space and loungers and a small pool to cool off in. Excellent food and beverages but we also took in several local eateries for variety and some local homemade cooking. Hopkins is a great central location for tripping down to Placencia for a day trip. A rental car is useful to come and go as you please. We found the barracuda and at least another dozen varieties of edible fish. The BD chefs will cook them up if you don’t want to do it yourself. “Beautiful place, wonderful people! – We stayed at the Belizean Dreams for 5 days while in Belize. The house we stayed in was wonderful and has plenty of room for 4 adults and two children. We were very happy with the house and having unlimited drinking water was a huge plus! The best place about this resort was the people. The first night there my two year old son kept talking about the pool. Every day there after everyone was asking if he got to go swimming that day. He loved it.
