Belize: The Best Place to Visit in March 2019

Erica Natalia didn’t bother to hold back when she was asked to write an article about the month of March. She declared it “The Most Obnoxious Month of The Year,” complaining about St. Patrick’s Day, Basketball fever, food served at Lent and even the Ides of March.

This girl needs the Caribbean. She needs Belize badly. And if we had the money, we would put her on a plane in March because nobody should have to spend this enchanting month feeling down in the dumps.

Belize in March is simply breathtaking. Famous attractions are open because the weather is so nice, caves, Mayan ruins, nature parks, and beaches are all accessible. Daily flights between major U.S. and Canada cities and Belize are so frequent, you’re going to be able to choose exactly the time of day you prefer to fly.

There’s another reason to come to Belize in March. The tax deadline for Americans is still a month away, so if you’re putting off digging out receipts, you can wait until you get home to do this thankless task with a huge grin on your face. Some vacationers return from Belize in such mellow states, they don’t even mind writing a tax check.

Belizean Dreams

Where to stay and what to do

Fill your days with a mix of water sports and sightseeing. Fill your nights with—well, whatever you like—especially if you plan to stay at Belize Dreams Resort where the word dream is taken literally. And since the weather is sunny—and the staff even sunnier—you’re going to have a ball.

Located in Hopkins Village, enough off the beaten path to avoid the biggest crowds, enjoy lodgings at this Belize all inclusive resort overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea and where local artwork, vaulted ceilings, 4-poster beds, and balconies will make you feel as though somebody had just put a crown on your head and proclaimed you royalty.

Travel outside the resort on excursions that run the gamut from ziplining to wildlife exploration and don’t forget to visit Tiger Fern Double Waterfall, just 26km away, with a picnic basket prepared by resort staff. Belizean Dreams’ onsite pool, beach bar, day spa and eatery are guaranteed to keep you blissfully content even if you don’t venture out.

It’s March. It’s your vacation. And if you run into Erica at Belizean Dreams, be sure to ask if she’s changed her mind about the month of March after discovering the magic of Belize and Belizean Dreams for herself.
