Delicious food, adventurous tours, elegant accommodations and of course excellent service all make up our resort, dubbing us “Best Vacation Ever” or “Greatest Resort Ever” just to name a few of what we have been called. We are proud to receive these comments among others as they come from the people that matters most – our guest. Who better to tell about the resort than the guest who have been here and experience the service.
Each month we try to pick a few of our Trip Advisor reviews to share with you and to encourage others who have never been to Belizean Dreams to experience a glimpse of what others have enjoyed. See exactly how we ended 2016 and kicked off 2017. Below are our top choices for November, December and January:
“Loved this resort and Belize!”
We have traveled around the world, and Belize is the most friendly country we have been to. The staff at Belizean Dreams was top notch and the best!! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay there. The view from the room was beautiful, the room itself was quaint and had two balconies, and the drinks at the bar and the restaurant food was great. We really enjoyed our excursions to snorkeling and to the zipline and rappel down a 150-foot waterfall. All the bartenders we met: Mauriano, Charles and Sergio were terrific! And Davilee at the front desk was excellent at arranging a spa visit to Butterflies Spa (which was amazing, by the way!) and our excursions.We walked to the village and ate at many local places which also had excellent food! The beach is beautiful and the resort was so enjoyable. We hope to return in the future!

“Dreaming of the Perfect Vacation”
The place is truly a dream. Staff was excellent and friendly, great food and drinks, room was big and well appointed. Housekeeping left beautiful towel designs and flowers on the bed each day! And the view of the Belizean beach was great. Really the perfect vacation, and looking forward to going back. Our only complaint was that we wanted the pool to be as warm as the ocean water!Room Tip: All rooms have a great ocean view, but ask for closer to the beach

“A lovely stay right on the ocean in beautiful Belize”
The Belizean Dreams resort is a Belize all-inclusive resort featuring luxury private villas situated on the beautiful Almond Beach, which is on the Caribbean coast. This intimate hotel is furnished with casual elegance and provides first class service in the heart of one of the most pristine places on Earth.Nine standalone beachfront villas are set among a landscape of palm trees and hibiscus plants, so the resort is small and feels very personal. This is not a big complex, there’s one beach bar and one restaurant and that’s all you’re going to need. Each of the suites faces the stunning Caribbean Sea and is only a few steps away from the crystal blue waters. You can soak up the sun at the beds around the pool or on the beach while sipping the house cocktail — a mosquito bite’ from the hotel’s beach tiki bar. If you are traveling with a larger party with a family or for a wedding perhaps, then the villas can be divided into one, two, or three bedrooms each with its own private bath. All rooms are large and airy, have lovely tiled bathrooms, air conditioning and even a TV. The view from your window will beat any channel you can tune in to!
The hotel is about a mile down an unpaved road so you can walk into the village, borrow beach bikes — which are great fun — or book a golf cart for a couple of hours. The village has lots of little restaurant shacks and quirky little shops selling local arts and crafts to browse around. You will find the locals very friendly indeed, and quite happy to chat to you and help you find what you are looking for. We stopped at a little road side stall for a snack of hot fried Jacks, which are like a cross between a pancake and a donut and are quite delicious. We were taken up a few stairs to a brightly painted balcony and told it was the VIP suite! Hopkins Junction, which is the end of the road at the entrance to the village is where you can catch the bus to other local destinations if you want to travel further afield independently.
Everything here is very laid back with a Caribbean style culture, and The Belizean Dreams resort in Hopkins welcomes everyone from singles, to families, friends and honeymooners. The super friendly and attentive staff can organize everything from a dive package to a wedding for you. You’ll find yourself called by your first name throughout your stay, and you will definitely feel very much at home. There are special deals in the low season, which make it a good time to travel, and less people too! Hopkins was voted the Friendliest Village in Belize by Belize First Magazine and is the #1 Cultural Destination throughout the country of Belize. I first saw Belize featured in pop video years ago and thought, “Where is that? It looks amazing — I’d love to go there!”. I wasn’t disappointed.
Room Tip: There are no bad rooms here they all face the sea!

“Amazing Vacation!”

The name of this resort says it all! From the friendly staff, amazing food, tasty cocktails, and beautiful excursions, Belizean Dreams meets all of your needs. They provided excellent service to our group of 9 celebrating a birthday! Anything you want to do here is possible. We adventured to islands, snorkeled, and relaxed poolside at the resort. From the moment we enjoyed our first cocktail (the mosquito bite 😃) to when they dropped us off at the airport, it was an excellent experience!

The service from the staff made this the greatest place to stay! the employees all knew our names and truly made us feel like family! The room was amazing with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The environment made you feel like you were in paradise. I can’t say enough about how amazing the whole experience was. I have never had more fun the excursions were awesome LOVED the cave tubing and zip lining!!! Snorkeling and the ruins were also truly amazing. I can’t say enough about the amazing staff so awesome!
Of all our January reviews the highlight was our staff, and we certainly don’t mind sharing some of the wonderful reviews about the great team we have at Belizean Dreams. The staff are all delightful. They know your name by the first day and what you do/don’t like to eat and drink by the 2nd or 3rd. Sandy, Santiago and Julien in the restaurant are adorable … and if you don’t feel like sitting by the pool with your bar snacks (or if your millennial child doesn’t want to get up for breakfast) they will bring the food to your room. Charles in the tiki bar is a master. Patricia and ??Deesia (sorry, can’t quite remember) in the office are constantly helpful. George (one of the drivers) is funny (but you have to listen closely because he’s quiet), and if you like body art check out the tat on his back.

As beautiful as the resort and the surrounding area is, what makes Belizean Dreams truly amazing is the people that work there. The entire staff is absolutely incredible. There was not a single person that we met there that did not have a smile on their face or a kind word to say. The staff goes above and beyond to meet your every need and request, you can tell that they all really enjoy working there. Everyone makes it a point to remember your name and to say hello to you every time they see you, it really is impressive how the whole staff can remember the names of every guest at the resort, while the guests are constantly coming and going. This level of commitment to customer service is unparalleled and goes a long way to creating an atmosphere of comfort and personal attention.

The part of the stay that we’ll remember the most was the 5-star service and treatment that we received from the staff. We literally felt like royalty. All of the staff knew our names, greeted us with a smile, and went to the extra mile to ensure that our stay was perfect. I would definitely recommend this resort for any couple/family as it was truly a memorable and unforgettable trip. We will be back!!!!

First and foremost, everyone there was friendly and treated you respectfully and if you chat more with them and welcome them to know you it felt like you were family. All the staff greeted you by first name and you can tell enjoyed their jobs- All said they were treated well and happy there (I like to know these things) and usually you can tell if they aren’t being truthful.

First the staff – every one of the staff members was kind, courteous and first rate. Even well before we actually arrived, we had exchanged multiple emails with the resort finalizing our trip and the responses were clear, concise and timely. Once we arrived we were given a brief tour of the resort plus our room plus our welcome drink. Throughout the week the bartenders (Charles you rock!), wait staff at the restaurant and front desk ladies were joyous, kind and super helpful.
