To start off your trip your experienced guide will show off his skill catching bait in round cast nets near the mangroves. Let him know what you would like to catch for the day and he will do his best to help you accomplish your goals. Trolling is popular along Belize’s Great Barrier Reef drop-offs where you often can catch King Mackerel, Barracuda, Grouper, Jacks and Snapper. We include the fishing gear with our trips!
Snorkeling and Reef Fishing
Combine the adventure of snorkeling and fishing along the barrier reef. You will spend a few hours enjoying both of these very popular activities. We include snorkel and fishing gear with our trips!
Fly Fishing
Friendly and knowledgeable island guides will safely transport you to outstanding fishing grounds, most only a few minutes from the comfort of your villa. This area has an incredible permit population, a fly fisherman’s dream come true! The local guides are well equipped to handle the avid, intermediate or novice fisherman. Bring your own tackle or we will provide it for you. If you are hoping to catch your first permit or achieve fly fishing’s greatest challenge, the Grand Slam, Belize is the best place to experience a spectacular fishing excursion.
Timetable
Half Day Trip: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Full Day Trip: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Bring: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, exposure protection like long-sleeve shirt and long pants, camera and power bars.
Afternoon trips may be arranged - 1 p.m.
