Whale Shark Dive Tours in Belize

WHALE SHARK DIVE

The amazing opportunity to dive with the largest fish in the world…

See details...
Diving with the whale shark, which is the largest fish in the world, can be done during the months of March, April, May and June.

During these particular months, around the time of the full moon, a variety of reef fish, such as mutton snapper, spawn (reproduce) in a marine park called Gladden Spit. They release millions of fish eggs which attracts the large concentrations of Whale Sharks who congregate and roam up and down the 26 mile long stretch every year to feed.

This 2 tank dive spot can be reached quite easily through trips from Hopkins, Belize. It is recommended to book at least 2 days of Whale Shark diving or snorkeling to increase the odds that you'll see one.

  • Tanks and weight belts included in dive price.
  • Lunch and juice included with this trip.
  • Duration: Full Day
  • Departure: 7:00 am
  • Cost: US$225 per person
